EDITORIAL by Anne Pinzow

I'm calling this an editorial instead of Sime-Line because there are so many Sime-
Lines in this issue I didn't want to confuse people anymore than I am by this issue.

I'm sitting here in a new office, typing on my own IBM and simply enjoying the fruits
of my labors, which enable me to labor more efficiently. When I started working for
Ambrov Zeor, I was 25 years old, married (the name was Golar and is now Pinzow) unempl—
oyed, and looking for something to do with a college degree that didn't mean anything.

Times have changed. Instead of being an extra set of tentacles, I‘m the managing
editor. I'm single, working towards a very meaningful Master's Degree, and having the
time of my life at a wonderful job. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think
of another thing I'md like to do and at least half of them are in some area of completion.

All this I owe to Ambrov Zeor.

Why? How? Beats me. But it somehow just seems to work out that way.

Times have changed for most of the people who have been touched by this 'zine. Some
people I've lost touch with. Others have moved, some have just gone on to other things.
Yet, no matter what all these people may feel about Ambrov Zeor, (and some don't feel
too good about it) they all agree that the 'zine has had a powerful effect on them.

AZ has a magic all its own and its touch has never relinquished its effect on me. There
have been times when I've wanted to chuck the 'zine down the toilet. There have been times
when I've displayed the 'zine proudly to other’s as an example of what I can do. And

there have been times, like now, when all the wonder and craziness of the past ten

years of my life seem-" intimately linked to the status of Ambrov Zeor.

Well, the status of Ambrov Zeor at this moment is, for this issue, about a week away
from being ready to go to the printer. In an analogical way, my life is in about the
same boat, as usual. So without further ado, I'll put an end to this editorial.

Live long and prosper,
May the force be with you,
May you find the path to
Avalon,
Life, love and laughter,
Anne
