This online archive was first constructed by the Fall 2012 Archives, Media & Materiality course led by Dr. Lauren Klein in conjunction with the Georgia Institute of Technology Library Archives, the Bud Foote Collection, and the University of Victoria Intro to Digital Humanities class, and it has been updated by the Fall 2014 Archives, Media & Materiality students. We are individuals interested in both digitally preserving science fiction fanzine collections as well as expanding the reach of such fanzines to those that cannot readily access the GA Tech Archives. The Archives, Media & Materiality class has prepared research material and plain text versions to accompany each fanzine. All questions regarding content may be directed to the Contact Us page. The Intro to Digital Humanities class led by Dr. Jentery Sayers provided the encoding of the Fanzine images under the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) guidelines.
